was released in 2007 and has received rave reviews in local press with
one critic saying, “She has something special that was previously

band’s live shows are also well received with another critic saying,
“With her cracker band The Rising Seas… Mardi’s combination of warm
melodies, acoustic guitars, banjo and even a melodica will hopefully
make you forget all about having to start work again.” (Rave Magazine) Andrew Pennay (The Australian Voices) is one of the members of The Rising Seas and he will be accompanying Mardi on the night. Multi-award winning singer songwriter Chris Pickering will begin his latest tour at EpiphanyArts. With
his enchanting melodies, insightful lyrics and a fresh-eyed
handsomeness, award-winning musician Chris Pickering is already
redefining the alt.country and His
latest album 'Excuses Excuses' was produced by Aria Award winning
legend - Magoo. The album shifts from pop to indie rock to alternative
country to heartfelt ballads and back again without missing a beat.

I was humming tunes for days afterwards. Both performers were brilliant and both were so different!!! I love Epiphany for this....... September 08 - Ghost had us travelling the world with their music - beautifully executed with rhythms ranging from soft and hearty to tap footing jigs....thanks again guys for coming down again from Brissie. I definitely enjoy your annual visits to our neck of the woods. Check out their myspace and for the fans I hear a CD launch is not too far away. August 08 - Elizabeth Lord, Leigh James (singer/songwritersfrom our own Murwillumbah region) and Ray Essery (Bush Poet extroidinare - otherwise known as The Mullumbimby Bloke). A great night - beautiful lyrics, beautiful voices and then there was Ray , one minute he had the audience laughing themselves off their seats and the next minute you could hear a pin drop - with everyone listening to his sensitive poems and stories. Another brillant night with everyone leaving happily. AND DONT FORGET LEIGH HAS A NIGHT ON AT GREENHILLS ON TWEED - a Tribute to James Taylor - Friday 12 September - bookings: 6672 1697 July 08 - Byron Bay's Cody Butler rocked the audience with her powerful voice, youthful energy, lyrics and bluesy tunes. Uki's Murray Kyle brought another type of energy to the hall when he sang his beautiful songs and melodies. Jonathan Harvey, 16 years old played reggae type music and got an encore. He definitely wowed the crowd as well. Many thanks to th performers for the evening, another great night. June 08 - Thank you Carl Cleves, Parissa Bouas and Peter Haddock - a beautiful night. Not only were the music, the voices, the lyrics beautifully executed but the heart and soul came through as well. Thank you Carl for the stories that were woven between each of your songs. A night to remember. May 08 - Tom Cooney from Brisbane - beautiful voice, touching, pure and clear with lyrics to match - heartfelt tunes which were received by the entired audience - he sold a whole pile of CD's - that must mean something!!! and Loren - another fantastic, entertaining, moving and giving peformance - many thanks guys - make sure you come back again. April 2008 - I know you might not belive me when I keep saying this - but wow!! it really was another greatnight - Backdeck set the mood with their special combination of lyrics, musicianship and talent and then our own Elenor and Dave wowed the house with a brillant compelation of individual songs and duos that touched every single member in the audience - their departing show before they left for 6 months in France. We will insist on an encore when they return!!! March 2008 - A fantastic night with Paul Ensbey, Phil Eizenberg and Rebekah Jensen - Diverse styles, great lyrics, great energy - something for everyone. Thanks guys for a wonderful night. And a special thank you t Rebekah for flying up from Sydney. Love you Rebekah... wish I lived in Sydney sometimes just so I could see you perform more often. L February 2008 - Karl Farren and Susanna Carmen - Thank you again to these talented musicians with their beautiful heartfelt lyrics and their very accomplished instrument playing.... December 2007 - Daeve Allen and Trypswych - Rock poet and soundscape ensemble from Brisbane November 2007 - Tim Sladden and Suzie Cardiff. Suzie's character, Florenzie started off the night with her assistant Michelle (alias Maximo) - there circus theatre was very humorous and very clever and the audience were thoroughly entertained with several audience members participating in the frivolity. We look forward to seeing Suze and Michelle again next year. Tim's vocals and guitar playing were beautiful - a real contrast to the first set and lovely way to close the night. I'm hoping he will visit us again too. 19 October 2007 - Jigzag - 'Best Live Act' National Folk Festival 2006 and we know why!!!!! 5 October 2007 - Mardi Lumsden & Pennay and - Beautiful story telling and a clear voice, supported by multi talented Pennay. 'Mantlepeace' (Sue McKenna and Jake Mann) - a great local duo from Uki. Check them out if you get a chance.... 21 September 2007 - Jez Mead Concert - A great night, even though the audience was small - what a performer. We are so avery lucky to have all this talent at our doorstep. 7 September 2007 - The Hottentots (Carl Cleves and Parissa Bouas) Another wonderful night with the talented duo. Their music comes from all over the world so there is a strong feeling of humanity pulsing through our little 'ol hall - we are truly blessed to be able to have these nights. August 2007 - Chris Sheehy and Mandy Nolan - What a night. "A real beauty" was one of the many comments that I heard one of our regular Epiphany goer's utter. Chris's voice, lyrics, guitar skills and on stage presence was thoroughly entertaining plus that bit of electricity that comes from 'special performances'. Mandy had the Epiphany mob laughing so much you could see the tears running down their faces. Her ability to choose topics that everyone feels connected to is her key for reaching across that space from the stage to the audience and letting us all feel that we are connected in this weird and wonderful world we live in. July 2007 - 'Ghost' - Martin Reese, Sebastian Flynn, Ceri McCoy (Brisbane trio) - Thanks guys for a wonderful night - the hall was packed out and you didn't disappoint - so many people have thanked me for getting you down here and hopefully you'll visit us again. You're a talented bunch that's for sure, playing violin, mandolin, guitar, bodhran and tin whistle - it was a real treat. Among the group of guests was Mike Grey Wolf, an Eastern Shoshone teacher and storyteller, William White Eagle, Wanda Ghost Calf, Figueroa and also friend, Ray Buchanan, Indigenous Australian and red hot didj player. Phil Eisenberg demonstrated some Hapkido (Korean Artial Arts) moves with his students, some were beautiful to watch with their slow moving centeredness and others showed their agility and power. The night was topped off with Gabi Bliss and Evan singing their hearts out with songs of sensitivity and songs of humour.
